The Word Cancun Comes from two Maya words: kaan and Kun which means cradle of snakes, or snake pit and is located on the northeast Caribbean coast of the Yucatán Peninsula in the State of Quintana Roo, Mexico, where the Riviera Maya starts and crosses different coastal cities as: Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, Akumal, Xpu-Ha and Tulum.
Weather is fantastic most all year round with temperatures between 67º F to 90º F during the whole year. The best time to visit is from January through April, since the humidity levels are low, which makes it great for a perfect tan on the beaches or to go explore the Cenotes in the jungle.
CANCUN WEATHERThe fastest way to come is by plane, you have to arrive to the Cancun International Airport (CUN), which is outside the city, 15 minutes away from the hotel zone. Airport currently has 4 terminals separated from each other, connected by an internal bus service. Major international airlines have direct or connecting flights. Making it accessible from almost every major city in the world.

Once you land at the International Airport, it will take you approximately 15 minutes to claim your luggage and 20 minutes to reach the hotel.
