Is it possible to have healthy habits during vacations?

In everyday life, we lead to a healthy way of life, or at least we try. Healthy meals, enough sleep, and exercise regularly are some part of our daily routine.

When we go on vacation, the first thing we want to do is to disconnect us from the routine and reconnect with our family and ourselves.

The emotion of being at vacations make us feel like we can break our healthy routine to enjoy more our holidays; But staying healthy does not mean you stop enjoying your vacation to the fullest.

The office pursues us still on vacations. The ideal scenario would be to disconnect our selves from everything, but we all know that it is not possible. Avoid surfing your mobile devices every 5 minutes searching for information or uploading pictures of the happenings.

Vacations are waiting for you outside, not inside your cell phone. Limit the number of times you check your devices to see social networks updates or response work e-mails, I know they are essential, but I also know that you are on vacation. Enjoy it!

Wherever you go on vacation, there will always be where and with whom to play. As a rule, the hotels have a specialized entertainment team that organizes events during the day. We know that holidays are for rest but why stay lying on a beach lounger if you can spend the day having fun?

If you are a healthy person, you surely have the habit of drinking enough water every day. During vacations, you should drink more liquids than you usually do, as the weather and daily activities are different from the usual can quickly lead to dehydration. Always carry a bottle of water with you to keep you hydrated. Avoid drinks with high alcohol content caffeine or sugars ( Tequila and Mezcal do not count), as these have a diuretic effect that will have the opposite effect.
