Special Father´s Day at Royal Solaris Cancun

Each year in Mexico, Father's Day is celebrated on the third Sunday of June. This June 17th was the special day to pamper all dads, we were lucky that this celebration coincided with the first México´s game of the 2018 Soccer World Cup in Russia and the Mexican team beat Germany 1-0.

As you can imagine, it was a very emotional and exciting day. In Cancun, a cloudy day that, combined with the passion of the world cup, invited you to spend the morning under the roof. The Tehuacán Theater of Royal Solaris Cancun and the Lobby bar were to burst the 90 minutes that lasted the game, everyone with the green shirt of the Mexican team. There were very exciting moments like the goal in the first half of the match. Everyone got up of their seats and celebrated to the rhythm of the Cielito Lindo song. Many dads were with their children, living the excitement of the match on this special day.

At the end we had the opportunity to talk with some of them and they told us that this victory and spending their vacations in the Mexican Caribbean were the best gifts of Father's Day . But not everything was about soccer, the children also made gifts for their dads at the Mini Club. Caps and ties with a loving message to congratulate them. It was very emotional when the parents came to look for their children at the Mini Club and they were received with hugs and gifts.

There was also an exciting Volleyball game at the beach where the parents played with their children.
Dads were really happy, after having spent such a good day with their family, with an exciting game of the World Cup, many gifts and to finish the celebration they enjoyed a delicious dessert in the restaurants Marco Polo, Bogavante and Veneto especially to pamper them.
